It was truly a strange day. The trees swayed quietly under the blue sky, a cool breeze blowing through the hot sunlight. All of it was reflected clearly in the still water of the clean pool. Nothing was out of the ordinary – just a typical, uneventful day. And yet, that overwhelming sense of normalcy made me feel even more uneasy.
